Cherry Point Beach - Rusty, Ropey, Stuff

We hadn't consulted Theo Dombrowski's excellent Secret Beaches series for a few months and I knew that we were "missing" a few beaches south of Crofton. This day (2017-06-04), his advice took us to Cherry Point Beach. I suspect that this awesome sandy beach is anything but secret; at least to the locals. As usual, beachcombing turned up some neat stuff.

Ucluelet - Wickaninnish Flotsam

For Sabrina's visit, we decided that we had to experience Long Beach again. One of the great things about beachcombing here is that you'll always find some sort of "treasure". In this case, a cool bit of thick rope; in a noose, no less. (2017-06-27)

Thetis Island - Chains at North Cove Beach

We explored North Cove on Thetis Island on Father's Day. At the far end of the beach, I was able to satisfy my photography of rust obsession.

Nanaimo - Linley Park wrecks

I probably don't walk through Linley Valley as often as I should. No matter; this May took me to the park. No stroll through this park, with a camera, is complete without a few pictures of the multiple car wrecks found along the path. CLICK!
